A Community That Cares There are nearly 1,000 non-profits in Grand Traverse County, nearly 100 of which are designated as “public charities.” We are blessed to live in a place where giving is at the center of what we do. A few short weeks ago, we were fortunate to be able to participate in the 2017 Circle of Friends Luncheon benefitting the Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center. As we listened to the speakers share their touching stories and looked out over the crowd of attendees, we were struck by the reality that we truly do live in a community where giving is a priority. In gratitude for your generosity, we thought we would take a few moments and talk about how we think giving has genuinely made this a better place to live and raise our families.
